More pictures

It wouldn't let me upload any more pictures, so here are some more!! These are of Benjamin. They kind of make me sad, honestly, b/c it's more and more apparent that he has Down syndrome. It's not that I'm ashamed of him at *all*. It's just more of a visual reminder. Just the same, isn't he the cutest thing? I especially love the last one in the brown outfit. His nose is adorable in that picture. I sure love this little guy. ;)

Angela,

I understand what you mean about seeing Ds in your child as they get older and it being unsettling. John is 5 weeks old and we see a little bit more each day. Like you, it is not that we are ashamed of him, it is just a visual reminder that he is different and that can be difficult when you are still adjusting to the Dx. But we just keep focusing on his abilities and the good things about him. He grows more interactive with each day and that seems to make up for the "look".

Angela, he is precious. He is just what God had in store for your family...down syndrome or not. You are blessed!

I love you guys! I can't believe how much I am missing with your family. Life is keeping us to busy for normal humans! Emma and the potty training thing is making me crazy. I even cried last night. I just need to realize these are small fries and just be thankful for what I have. You are always in my heart and mind and Benjamin is the cutest ever you are absolutely right! Andrew is becoming the cutest, smartest little guy ever. Emma is not quite as receptive to formal "learning." (hehe) I did however make a little calendar that I put in her room to work on days of the week and month. Inspired by you!!
