Day 20: Nicknames you have

My name is Angela.

Not Angie.

No one has ever called me Angie unless they were joking.

Or misinformed.

A select few people in my life call me "Ang." (My older brother and two friends from college, Nathan and Leslie.)

My younger brother calls me "Babes."

My dad has a slew of nicknames for me, as dads are apt to do: "Lamb," "BG" (stands for "Baby Girl"), "L" (my middle name is Lee).

Matthew calls me "Babe" and sometimes "Sweets."

But basically I'm just Angela.

Or Mommy.

Yeah, though only one of my three children can actually say "mama," I am mommy most of all right now.

But that's more of who I am, not what I am called.

Mommy requires no nickname.
