Just wanted to update those of you who are not on Facebook.
I will do a longer post soon hopefully with pictures and more in-depth updates.
I am home from the hospital and have been since Friday. I was on bedrest all weekend but now am in the depths of a busy week. Matthew is out of town until late Friday night, but thankfully my mom is on Spring Break and is a HUGE help. And I have WONDERFUL friends and family who provided dinner 5 of the 7 nights this week.
My leg still hurts esp when I walk or stand. Which I obviously have to do a lot. I go back to the OB for my two-week check up tomorrow so I will hopefully get some answers then. (I go to see the hematologist next Monday.)
I cancelled Benjamin's white blood cell retest this Thursday b/c he has come down w/a cold (at least I hope and pray it's just a cold!!!) and there's no sense to make him get his blood drawn if I am almost certain his WBC count will be low anyway. I will talk to the doctor on Thursday when I take Thomas in for his two-week checkup and ask her when she thinks we should reschedule it.
Okay, time to feed a baby and get some sleep. It has now been 13 days since I've had more than three hours of consecutive sleep and I am feeling it.
Things are really going well. I am completely happy with my three boys. They are AMAZING. Thomas still sleeps a lot but eats well, which is a perfect combination. I know he'll wake up to life soon and then I'll be even more exhausted. I only wish my leg didn't hurt and I could get over this blood clot thing. Ugh.
Okay, goodnight!

I'm so glad to read a good update and hear that things are going better. You're very fortunate to have your Mom around to help you out. I never had that, even when my Mom was alive (my father retired and my parents moved to Florida a year before my first son was born). I do know what you mean about wanting that mother/daughter relationship someday. You still have time to think about that. Just enjoy your three sons for now.
Angela! I'm not on Facebook, and girlfriend I was about to send out a search party for you! I'm so happy to hear that you are doing better and are out of the hospital. Please continue to take care of yourself so that you can care for those sweet boys of yours.
Hugs, Libby
I hope the leg feels better soon! It's tough when the Mommy doesn't feel good!
