Postponement Day Pictures

First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my dad, my Uncle Peter, and my friend Laurie. :)

Here are pictures from today. Can't wait to do it all over again tomorrow!! Hopefully we'll make it farther than the holding room.

Today was a really good day, despite its turning out much different than we thought it would. We went to Panera after we checked out of the hotel and hung out there for awhile before checking into the Ronald McDonald House. OH MY GOODNESS this place is awesome! Sure, there are downsides that I could complain about (no eating, drinking, or TVs in the rooms, two twin beds), but there is a full kitchen with TONS of free food plus dinner is provided at 6:00 almost every night by a volunteer group (like a sorority or a church). There are several places with couches and TVs to hang out in, and tons of washers and dryers that are free to use and they provide free detergent. Wow. What an amazing thing! It's not a bad drive (three blocks) from the hospital (or there's a free shuttle), so we can trade off sleeping here or if B's settled after awhile, we might both come here and get some rest at some point. Okay. Onto the pictures.

Bummer that the surgery had to be postponed, but Benjamin sure looks happy! What a cutie!

And that is GREAT news about the RMH--what a blessing!

Good luck again--we'll be checking in tomorrow. :)

He's just blissfully unaware of why he's there...and that's fantastic! He looks so happy. Tomorrow will go smoothly and he'll be back to himself in no time! And you, Mama, get to comfort him :)

Hey it's Chrispy from BZ... just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking and praying a lot about/for you and B!! He's such a precious little guy, and you... you truly inspire me with your grace, positivity, and love. B couldn't have picked a better mama, that's for sure.
