Aww what a great smile! It was worth the wait for sure! I'm so sorry there are more complications -hopefully they are just temporary and he just needs more time to heal.
Is it possible that he's nursing more because he's comfort nursing? Just thought with everything going on maybe he's kicking into a comfort nurser. So hard to tell though! HUGS MJ

comfort nursing is an excellent idea...

every vaccine, Carsyn comfort nursed...I can't imagine what surgery would do to a little guy, esp. being separated from momma :)

Look at that sweet baby!!! I so love that smile! I know you're having a hard time staying positive, but look at that smile and remember the blessings God has given you. That smile makes my heart swell with joy!

All my love to you, Matthew, Benjamin, and Andrew.

Could there be anything cuter than that? I hope he gets well soon the poor little guy! Maybe it hurts to eat so he is going slower because of pain..just throwing this out there..but I hope that isn't it..poor pumpkin. HUGS to Benjamin and Mommy!

So sweet! Try to think of the song He's got the whole world in His hands and picture His loving hand holding Benjamin and remember He loves him more than you do. I am praying for your peace that passes understanding, and rest. I'm so sorry this is so hard this evening. Praying lots,

Look at that gorgeous smile!!! I am sure your heart melted to see that again! I know mine did. :)

FWIW, I'm guessing the LONG nursing episodes are about comfort, hunger, AND fatigue on his part. Try not to worry... I know, easier said than done!!
