One kid = Easy

Hindsight is 20/20, right?

Today my parents kidnapped Andrew alllll day. So it was just Benjamin and me at home. I got all the laundry washed, dried, and put away, including the sheets, towels, and floor rugs. I cleaned my entire house top to bottom. I walked on the treadmill and even took a shower. I never remember being this productive when I had one child!! Why did I think it was hard?

Of course, Andrew was a horrid eater, and breastfeeding every three hours took an hour and was akin to wrestling an alligator. He didn't sleep through the night as early as Benjamin did, so I was sleep deprived longer.

But STILL!!!!!

oh yes, one kid is easy... i remember everyone asked if i thought it was hard to go from one to two kids - nope, i thought it was more difficult to go from none to one. i am way more productive now.

i hope you had a good day!!!!

I found you blog through Tammy Shaver, who we met at Jonathan's doctors office years ago. Our Jonathan has DS. You have a beautiful family. Hope you all have a great 4th!

It is always like that minus one kid no matter how many you have.
Weird, huh? I don't know what I was so stressed about with one either.

Hey Angela, seems like it's been forever. Your family is adorable. They grow up so fast, seems like just yesterday mine were little, now one is about to be 20 and my baby girl is 16....time really flies. As you can see, I told my friend Laura about you....I thought she might could be an inspiration as a blogger and as the mother with a down syndrome child. She has it all together or sure appears to. She is one of the most organized women I have ever met. Go check out her blog and it was good running across yours. You can email me sometime, tlstaz6543@catt.com. I have a myspace but I don't blog...at least not yet. :)

oh, and tell your mom the Shaver's said hello!!

I totally understand what you're talking about! It seemed so hard to go from no kids to one kid, and it was much simpler going from one to two. When my parents take J for a bit, it's SO easy to do stuff! It's going to be SO tough to move away!!
