I heart Gap jeans

It's all come full-circle today.

I took a picture of myself wearing my pre-pregnancy jeans.

I still haven't lost a whole lot of weight, but I've started exercising more (I'm currently in week two of the Couch to 5K program), and my clothes are fitting a little better.

Anyway, here's the picture that I took with the timer on my camera. Pardon the messy counter and the cat who always likes to hop in the picture.

Those are my Gap Long & Lean jeans, size 14L. Oh, how I love them. They are still a tad snug, but fit enough for a quick trip to the pediatrician's today for Thomas's booster flu shot. And then a trip to Target for cat litter that was on sale and a $1.00 pumpkin bucket for Benjamin, who will be trick-or-treating for the first time ever this year. (Most likely at a handful of houses, and most likely in the umbrella stroller, but you've gotta start somewhere.)

Anywaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy

I am dreadfully behind on my blog reading, but was just catching up on a few tonight. One of my favorites is a blog called whatever. I'm not sure why I love this blog so much. Maybe it's the colorful photography or the fact that Meg (I like to think we're friends) has five kids and is such a cool mom. Or the fact that she posts funny links to skits and commercials. Anyway, she's hosting a giveaway for a $100 Gap giftcard on her giveaway blog, and I am blogging about it to get an extra chance to win.

And because you all love me so much and want me to win, don't enter. Mmmmmmkaaaayyyyyyy???? ;)

Here's the link, though, just so you can read Meg's awesome post and see her daughter's Gap fashion show.

(By the way, I'm still doing the weight-loss challenge, but I did get kicked off my team a couple of weeks ago. I'm now on "Exile Island" but am still going to weigh-in tomorrow.) :)

Great job! That has to feel really good. I got stuck at 20 pounds lost and am hoping to jump on the losing train again. :-)
