Gotcha with my title.
It really has nothing to do with Benjamin. Or a hundred dollar bill (y'all).
Except that Benjamin weighs about 17 pounds. And as of tonight, after 11 weeks of being on Weight Watchers, I have now lost 16.8 pounds. WOW!!!!!
I've almost lost a Benjamin!
You could also say I've lost a Frank or Nancy, as they each weigh about 17 pounds, but that didn't have quite the ring to it.
As some of you may have read from my Facebook status tonight, Matthew and I started the 30-day Shred workout today. And for those of you who have been living under a rock or who actually have a life (or those of you who have a life under a rock, like Patrick on Spongebob), this is a very intense workout created by Jillian Michaels (from Biggest Loser). It is basically 20 minutes but NONSTOP. And it is a killer workout. You think you can do it. And you do. On day one. But then day two dawns and you have trouble getting on and off the toilet. For me, that's when I know I've worked out really hard. I can't even sit down on the toilet without willing myself into a controlled fall because my quadriceps are just too sore to work right. So that's what I have to look forward to tomorrow.
To read some really funny posts about this (because I know you all love to laugh and have tons of time on your hands), click the links below:

So you've got the gist of it.
Buuuuut what you may not know is the reason why Matthew and I are doing this 30-day workout.
Because in 30 days from tomorrow, he and I are getting in the car.
With our swimming suits and my boogie board.
With no kids.
And will be driving to the beach in the Outer Banks, North Carolina.
The best place in the world.
For a week.
Oh. My. Goodness.
By the way, I took this picture of an actual OBX--Outer Banks--family vacation from the deck of a rented beach house. I'm not sure of the year because we went every single year from 1990 to 2004 and then 2006 & 2007. But if I had to judge I would say somewhere in the late 90s/early 2000s. If you look carefully, the five people in the ocean are my family members. For some reason you can't click on the pic to make it bigger, but that's my younger brother Justin at the tallest part of the wave. Next to him (L to R), if I had to venture a guess based on the larger view I can see in my file, are my cousins Philip, Marianne, Casandra, and Carol. Sigh....good times.
